Jessica Vinterella, DVM, CVA, CVPP

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine — Louisiana and Mississippi’s only Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner and Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.

Based out of Covington, Louisiana, Dr. Jessica Vinterella is passionate about providing pet owners with all of the resources needed to keep their pets comfortable and thriving through terminal illness and aging. She guides her clients through comfort care with support and compassion. Driven by the experience of caring for her own senior dog and ultimately providing euthanasia in the comfort of his home, she has made it her life’s mission to provide in-home guidance, supportive care, and euthanasia services to the pet parents of southern Louisiana and Mississippi.

Dr. Vinterella is Louisiana and Mississippi’s first and only Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner, focusing on a multimodal and integrative approach to treat acute and chronic pain for pets in need.

Dr. Vinterella is trained in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through Chi University. She utilizes acupuncture as part of palliative care and pain management treatments to bring pets comfort and support in their time of need.
